Broken battle apps scripts fixed
As several users have reported, the developers of the battle apps have adjusted their pages to intentionally break my scripts. I have updated my scripts to deal with this, and have clarified the error message shown on changed web pages. You can grab the newest goodies from my battle app page. Updating scripts will replace your settings with the defaults, so you’ll need to change them back again. Happy battling!

I bet that the developers are downloading the script and just changing one little thing at a time so it is a game of cat and mouse…

This is quite likely the case. However, all this cat can do is keep the mouse from scripting temporarily, and as soon as the mouse gets away it racks up lots of experience before the cat catches up again.

Hey,
This is great, but I’ve been having a problem with the script not working past the battle results page… It just stops there. What should I do?
December 12th, 2007 at 11:07 pm
It could be a firefox problem (try restarting firefox). Other than that, make sure you’re running the latest version of my script, and if that still doesn’t fix it, give me more details. Does it give an error window when it stops?

Even after restarting Firefox it still stops at the results page. I just pulled it off the site and plugged it in. There is no window or notification of an error at all. It seems like the script doesnt function at that page.

Hey, running the Skiers vs. Snowboarders script and it just had a box pop up.
“The page at Http://apps.facebook.com says: A change in this page has been detected. In order to prevent possible detection of this script, exection has been stopped. Please report this at Garrettreid.com”
Nice job on these scripts. ;D

How can you change those scripts. I want to take the 1 gold bet off and put the default on the skiers vs. snowboarders game. How can I do it?

Know any scripts for warbook?
December 30th, 2007 at 11:52 am
Thanks for the heads-up, C. The next version of the script should have more detailed error messages, which will help me figure out exactly what is going on.
Pekka: read my post, it says how.
Rick: I’ve actually been played some warbook myself, so a batch of scripts may be just around the corner :)

~I’ve actually been played some warbook myself, so a batch of scripts may be just around the corner :) ~
Cheers reading this. I’m becoming terribly addicted to warbook…. =). A script such as to automatically use alchemy and buy soldiers/upgrade to elite every hour will be godsend… ^_^
(or one that keeps my kingdom on scarce? heh. or is that called hack/cheat?)

Gracias senor, having trouble trying to edit Skiers vs Snowboarders script, open GM, highlight the script, click edit then nothing. Am i doing something wrong? Also not able to edit Vampires vs Werewolves script either.

attaboy: If you can’t edit my greasemonkey scripts, you can’t edit any. You probably mistakenly chose the wrong thing to edit scripts with (greasemonkey has you choose an editor the first time you try and edit a file).

Thanks for the greasemonkey for vamps v weres – have been making good use of it – I’m completely new to greasemonkey and scripts so have enjoyed tweaking yours and seeing what happens.
It still seems to be working – I have had a few of those “detested” wassnmes pop up that tell me to let you know that the script has been dtected. Not sure how important that is – have carried on using it anyway and seems fine..?

Oh man. Warbook, and Warbook Rise of the Infernals scripts would be awesome! I’ll try to stay tuned here. But when/if those scripts come out, will you email me?
